Snowman (Monty)
Adopted
Snowman (aka Monty) is about 16 wks old. He is
deaf and blind in one eye. Monty is very sweet and likes to
play as puppies do. He is primarily housebroken, doesn't mind
sleeping in his crate, and likes to ride in the car.
Monty will need to be neutered and micro-chipped
prior to adoption. He is current on vaccinations.

Pearl's Puppies
Pearl's puppies.... Pearl's pups are now 13 wks
old. And are they the cutest! The best part is their
wonderful personalities. It's been fun to see them change not
only physically, but in watching them go
from tiny babies to toddlers.......
We believe the father was a cattle dog that was not neutered and lived in the
same enclosure
backyard with Pearl. The "ticking" is now starting to pop out on
their bodies too! And you can see
most are getting the wiry terrier coat Pearl has. Gotta love those little
"whiskers"!
We have 4 boys and 4 girls. Kit is the only pup that is deaf. All
have good vision.
Each pup will be current to age on vaccinations, micro-chipped and
spay/neuter contracts will be
required.

(Oakley), and Belle (Starr)

Lumiere aka
Louie

Lumiere aka Louie is a 6 month old cutie! He is a
fun loving little guy that loves to play with the other
dogs. Louie's very smart and is already learning obedience hand
signals. He is deaf, but that
doesn't slow him down one bit. Louie is great with kids, cats and
horses.
Louie is current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. He is
still learning about housebreaking,
Pearl is one awesome dog. She is of medium size,
about 35 lbs. We think Pearl is an Aussie/Terrier
mix. She has the cutest "whisker" face. Pearl is currently in
the process of weaning her 8 puppies.
She has a wonderful personality and is great with kids, dogs, and cats.
Pearl does like to try and
scavenge for "goodies" if left within her reach. But then she was a
chain dog and left abandoned
when pregnant with her babies. Pearl is housebroken, but prefers
not to be crated. She is deaf, has
great vision and about 2 yrs old.
Pearl is current on vaccinations, spayed, and micro-chipped.
Lance

Lance is deaf and about 8 months old.
He is a bit more reserved out in public than his brother
Scotty. However at home, he loves to play with his foster doggie
siblings. Lance also gets along
well with cats. Lance definitely needs a companion that will allow
him to snuggle with.

micro-chipped.

Trooper is a handsome deaf and blind adult boy.
He gets along well with other dogs and also cats.
He is housebroken and an overall nice mellow boy. Trooper would
love to have a family of his own
to hang out with. Trooper was found in Tucson abandoned on desert
property. He apparently tried
to find his way around, but with all the cactus, ended up with a face
full of needles. True to his personality,
Trooper endured needle removal with only winces of pain and never a growl
to those that were trying
to help him.

Sid

Sid is an awesome little boy. He is 12 wks old
and brother to Manny and Nadia. Sid does have
hearing and good vision out of one eye. He loves to be a snuggle
bunny while plopped on his
back. Sid gets along well with other dogs and kids. His ears
have currently dropped down....

current on vaccinations, and will be neutered and micro-chipped prior to
adoption.
Fernando

Fernando is a very nice young boy. He is deaf
and about 9 - 10 months old. Fernando loves to play
and would do best in a home that has other doggie companions for him to
play with. His foster home
does have kitties, and Fernando will chase if the kitty runs. He is
housebroken and doing well with
his crate training.

Pima is a beautiful deaf mini Aussie. She is 9
wks old and weighs just under 10 lbs. Pima loves
to play with her foster siblings. Since she's still a baby, Pima is
still learning about housebreaking.
Pima is a fun loving and feisty little girl!

She will also be micro-chipped.

Sage is a sweet deaf boy from Utah.
He is great with people, dogs, and cats! Sage is less
than a year old.

sweet little blind girl is about 3 months old. She is good
with cats
and other dogs. Kelly is a
confident girl and has no
issues finding her way around!

Lukas

Lukas is a beautiful deaf boy. He is
approximately 8 - 9 months old. Lukas is great in the house and
is housebroken. Because he had been confined his entire life with
no other dog contact, he gets
over excited and can overwhelm some dogs. He really wants to play,
but doesn't quite know
how. Lukas is good with kids and cats and walks nicely on the
leash.
Lukas is neutered, current on
vaccinations, and micro-chipped.
**Lukas is a parvo survivor and cannot currently
live with puppies until they have been through their full
series of vaccinations.
Fiona is a 4 yr old sweetheart. She is
blind but does have hearing. Fiona is great with other dogs,
cats, goats, livestock in general, and kids too! She walks nicely
on a leash and is housebroken.
Fiona is spayed, current on vaccinations, and
micro-chipped.
Ice

Ice is an adorable deaf boy and is approximately 14
wks old. He is great with kids and other
dogs. Ice has 4 other siblings that were found in a box behind a
dumpster in Colorado. His sister
Laci is also available for adoption. The other 3 siblings have
already found forever homes!
Ice is work in progress with potty training and is crate trained.
Ice is current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. He will be
neutered prior to his adoption.
Sally

Sally is an awesome little cattle dog and is
approximately 10 months old. She is of smaller
size and weighs about 23 lbs. Sally had a broken rear leg that did
not heal correctly, causing that
leg to be a little shorter than the other. She has
compensated well and has had no issues with
getting around. Sally is very sweet and has a great personality.
Sally came to Amazing Aussies with Garrett and is
his best friend. Sally gets along well with other
dogs and cats, is housebroken, and crate trained. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on
vaccinations.
Nadia

Nadia is a gorgeous and sweet girl. She is deaf
and blind with a wonderful personality. Nadia
is housebroken using a doggie door. She gets along well with other
dogs (all sizes) and kids and
with her demeanor and age, should be fine with kitties too.
This little girl will steal your heart! Nadia is 12 wks old and is
the sister to Manny and Sid. They were
found abandoned.

vaccinations, and will be spayed and micro-chipped upon adoption.
Debbi

Debbi is deaf and
about 5 yrs old. She is a real people lover! Debbi likes
to play with toys and is
housebroken. She rides very
nicely in a car and gets along with other dogs, although she
likes to
be the center of attention and get all the loving she can get!
Debbi spent 6 long weeks at the shelter
after being found as a stray near a local Goodwill store.

He of medium size weighing about 45 lbs.
He is about 9 months old and has the most beautiful eyeliner around those
blue eyes! Petey is

Laci is a very sweet girl that has a little hearing
and partial vision. It appears she can see distance
better than close up. Laci is great with kids and other dogs.
She was found with her 4 other

Snow is one cute and loveable boy. He's
approximately 18 wks old. Snow is deaf, but does not
seem to have any vision impairments. He is a cuddler and will crawl
up in your lap for some extra
loving. Snow does love his humans and is a great companion.

Ashes is a very sweet little boy. He's
approximately 18 wks old. Ashes is deaf, but has only a
slight vision impairment. He loves to cuddle and keeps his foster mom and

He loves to hang out with his humans, is great with other dogs and lives with
kitties.

Petunia is a very sweet deaf girl at 9 months old.
She is an awesome dog and loves everyone. She's

Jazz is a sweet dog that's just about a year old.
He's considered a mini and weighs 28 lbs.
Since Jazz is deaf, he's learning his obedience commands via hand
signals. He is currently
enrolled in beginners agility and having a great time! Jazz plays well with his doggie foster siblings
and is crate trained.

Winston is a beautiful, energetic 14 wk old.
He will need a family to do outside the home activities.
This is a very smart boy that learns quickly. Winston is still
learning about housebreaking. He is
crate trained and current on vaccinations and would do best with older
children because of his
activity level.

Bailey is about 14 wks old. She seems to have
normal hearing, but not much vision.
She is a typical playful and energetic puppy. Bailey is crate trained and
is still in training for
housebreaking. She does well with any size doggie companion and is
good with kids.
Blanca

Blanca is a 9 wk old lovebug. She has
hearing but is somewhat vision impaired. Blanca gets
around just fine and is confident in her environment. She is also
quite a snuggle bunny.
Blanca is current on vaccinations and will be micro-chipped and spayed

forever home. She is a sibling to Shadow and Frankie.
Tessa

Tessa is a cuddler that loves to be held and give
kisses. She can play rough with other dogs
and needs to be kept active. She is good at feeding time and does
not raid the other dog's food
bowls. Tessa uses a doggie door with no problem and is crate
trained. She is around 1-2 yrs old,
deaf and visually impaired.
Boudda is a very handsome young man at
3 yrs old. He has a beautiful coat and loves playing with his other foster brothers and sisters. Boudda walks well on a leash, rides excellent in the car, and enjoys the outdoors! He's a very happy go lucky dog and just plain loves life.
Last winter he was able to experience snow for the first time and had a great time running and jumping in the cold white stuff.
Radar is a very playful boy. He is
most likely blind in one eye and has some hearing impairment.
But he is able to see and hear, just not perfectly.
Radar gets along well with other dogs and cats.
He is a bit pushy when playing with the dogs and is learning
proper doggie play etiquette!
Radar is of a smaller stature weighing in at about 37 lbs. He is
full grown.
Radar is crate trained, neutered, current on vaccinations,
and housebroken.

Molly is a beautiful Aussie/Catahoula mix and
approximately 4 months old. She is a little quieter
than her brother Duncan, but still an active puppy. Molly is great
with other dogs and kids.

loves to play with his K9 doggie friends and is good with kids.

Chica is a beautiful girl that was found abandoned on
a busy street. Fortunately she had a guardian
angel that rescued her and she now has a chance to find a loving forever
home.

and current on vaccinations. She's very smart
and is an all round nice girl. She is deaf and vision impaired.

Aussies as the official Ambassador to our rescue!
Frankie

Frankie is 9 wks old and quite handsome. He may
have some hearing and seems to have
good vision. Frankie is an independent boy that likes to play as all puppies do.
Frankie is current on vaccinations and will be micro-chipped and neutered
prior to going to his
forever home. He is a sibling to Shadow and Blanca.

Shadow is a 9 wk old beauty. She is an active
girl and loves to play. Shadow has both hearing and
vision. She is also a cuddler.

Everest is a wonderful and happy boy. Everest easily earned how to navigate stairs in a 2 story
house and already knows
some basic commands. He is deaf and blind but is very confident and
a quick learner.
Tucker (previously known as Julian) has just
arrived to Amazing Aussies. He is a very smart boy
and will need to have a home that will keep him active. He loves to
play with the other dogs and
needs room to run. Tucker is neither deaf nor blind. He does know
his name and basic commands
such as sit and stay. He is crate trained, and travels nicely.
Tucker has been known to escape from his
enclosure, and does know how to open gates. (We
have seen this first hand!) He has not tried to climb the block wall,
however he is kept active and
is in a fairly large yard at his temp foster home.
Tucker is an awesome dog and will make a wonderful
addition to the active family.
Huey

Huey is a very sweet 4 month old male. He
is deaf and somewhat visually impaired. Huey has
a medium activity level and gets along well with other dogs and
also cats. He will be a larger size
boy when an adult.
He is almost housebroken and already knows basic command hand
signals. Huey is current
on vaccinations and micro-chipped. He will be visiting the
vet for his neuter in the near future.

Donner is an adorable little 12 wk old aussie mix boy.
He has both hearing and vision. Donner
has a nice, easy going personality. Like all puppies, he's very
curious about everything!

Lexi is one cool girl. She is
approximately 10 months old and was an instant friend to her
foster siblings. Lexi is easy going and well mannered. She is blind

hearing impaired.

Nyssa

This sweet girl is approximately 9 months old,
deaf and blind. Nyssa plays well
with other dogs
and has a medium activity level. She's
happy to relax and enjoy a little sunshine as
well as hang
out with you in the house. Nyssa appears to
be housebroken and is leaning basic
obedience
commands. This is a good girl that would do fine
in a smaller yard home.
(In case you were wondering
where the name Nyssa came from....in Greek it means "beginning".
We thought that appropriate as we're hoping she will have a new
beginning in life with her very
own forever home in the near future!)
Skylar
Adopted
Skylar is an awesome boy at 5-6 yrs old. He is
very well behaved and has a moderate energy level.
He gets along well with other dogs and cats of all ages. Skylar is
housebroken. He is able to see OK and is deaf.
Skylar is one lucky boy
that was saved from euthanasia with literally minutesto spare.
We went to pick him up from the shelter, but upon arrival were told he had been PTS
earlier that day. (although he was not scheduled until that evening!) By sheer luck, it was discovered
that he was still in the E- room and although already sedated, had not received the life-ending injection.
Needless to say, our awesome foster home was down
there immediately and took a sleepy boy home with her.
Max (previously known as Clove) is an adorable little
10 wk old aussie mix. Max does have both
hearing and vision although neither are perfect. He will be a small
dog when fully grown at about 25 lbs.
Conner is approximately 7 months old and
already weighs 30 lbs. He is deaf, but seems to
have good vision. Conner is a good natured little boy that is currently lives
with dogs, cats, and
kids. He is always ready to play and rides well in a car. Conner is crate trained,
current on shots
and is doing well with his potty training.
Murphy is a young boy, approximately 1 yr old.
He has a great temperament, good with other dogs
and kids. His current foster home has kitties, so we'll soon see
how he is with cats. Murphy seems
to already know basic commands and is very smart. He is deaf, but
his vision is good. Murphy has
very striking eyes with his right eye having both brown and blue
coloration.
Splash is a very sharp looking boy. He is deaf
and approximately 2-3 yrs old. Splash gets along
well with other dogs and likes high energy playtime with them. He
loves the pool and is happy to
retrieve a frisbie, ball, or any other toy you toss for him.
We believe Splash is an aussie/golden retriever
mix.
Splash is well mannered in the home, housebroken,
micro-chipped, neutered and current on
vaccinations.
Thatcher
Adopted
Thatcher is the largest of his siblings Blaine and
Elsa. He is blind in one eye, but is able to utilize
his good eye and has great hearing. Thatcher is a very confident and
playful puppy. He is
currently the youngest member of his foster family, and gets along will with all the
adult dogs.
Thatcher also enjoys playing in the "kiddie" pool! Thatcher is approximately 3 months
old.
Colt

Colt is about 6 months old and a great boy. He
is deaf and blind, although he can see shapes and
shadows. Colt loves playing with his foster siblings and gets
around quite well. He is also great
with kids and cats.
Maggie

Maggie is a beautiful little blue merle.
She is deaf but her vision is good. Her right eye has a
beautiful dark outline.
Maggie is very
sweet and all puppy. She is learning about potty training and hand
signals.
Blaine
Adopted
Blaine is quite the snuggle bunny. He loves to
be cuddled and talked to. Blaine is blind, but
his hearing seems to be fine. He is a little shyer than his siblings Thatcher
and Elsa, but has
done just fine adjusting to his new foster home. Blaine is approximately 3 months old.
Sunny
Adopted
Sunny is a 1 yr old beauty. She is current
on vaccinations and has been spayed. She loves to
play ball, is great with kids and other dogs. We don't know how
she is with cats.
Sunny rides well in the car and is leash trained.
**Currently Sunny is not available for adoption as
she tested Heartworm positive and is undergoing
treatment. Please be sure to check back for updates on Sunny's
progress.
9/5 - The results of Sunny's full work up showed
an abnormal shaped heart that is slightly enlarged
and inflamed
lungs. After a consultation with the vet, we decided on the slower
course of treatment
in order to
minimize the stress on Sunny's body. She'll be closely monitored to
ensure progress
is being
made.
10/10 - Sunny had the first of her treatments
today. She has done very well and was not sick at all.
She will have another round of meds in 3 weeks.
01/10/07 - Great news! Sunny has finally
tested negative for Heartworms!! She is now officially
ready to find her forever home and is available for adoption.

Sombra

Sombra is approximately 2 years old.
She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped.
This is a smart girl that is housebroken and knows hand signals.
She is good with cats and other dogs.
Sombra is deaf and has good vision. She is energetic, playful, and
friendly!
Teja is a 3 year old Aussie mix rescued from the East side pound where she was picked up as a stray.
Freckles

Freckles is a mini aussie. He is about 9 months
old and weighs less than 20 lbs. He is deaf but
has good vision. He loves to play and is good with other dogs.
Sullivan

Sullivan is a beautiful
little girl. She is deaf and very vision impaired. Sullie loves to
play and is
doggie door trained. She gets along well with her other doggie and kitty
companions. She is
learning touch signals and has no problem with communicating with her foster mom on her
needs!
Joey is 1 and a half years old and has grown into a happy and loving big boy that now weighs in at 57 lbs. He still does not crate, but will stay in his designated room with plenty of toys and treat balls. Joey is great with other dogs. He can always be counted on for a game of chase or tug or war.
**Joey is now affectionately known as JD in his new forever home.....
Sparky is about 8 months old and deaf. His vision is impaired but he seems to be able to see quite well. He has fit in with the dogs here very well but I don't know how he is with cats. Sparky uses the doggie door but I'm not sure how well housetrained he is as he has not been here long enough. Sparky is current on all his shots and will be neutered before going to his forever home.
Peanut

Peanut is an
adorable little mini aussie. He is 10 mths old, neutered, current on
shots and
micro-chipped. He's a very snuggly little boy that likes to cuddle
and sleep with his human.
Peanut was a breeder/owner turn in at the shelter who decided
that he was not "profit"
material.
Jessie

Jessie is estimated to be about 9 months
old. She is very friendly and gets along with her
foster siblings. Jessie is a very sweet girl.
Wiley is approximately 2 yrs old. His fur is
shaved in this picture. He is a very nice and friendly boy.
He is doing very well at his foster home and is waiting for his
forever home to find him!
Billy is approximately 10 wks old, neutered and
current on shots. He is full of personality
and loves to play with his
foster siblings. Billy is crate trained, and his foster mom and
dad
are working on potty training as
he is still a baby. Billy is deaf but has good vision.
Orson is a blue merle male with the softest fur coat around. He loves to play with his foster sisters or his foster mom. He is currently attending a obedience class for special needs dogs.
May's estimated age is 10 months. She seems
to be a well adjusted and happy girl. May is
just arriving to Amazing Aussies and we are still learning about her.
Georgia
Adopted
Georgia was born right around 1/30/06. She was turned into the shelter
at
St. George, Utah by a
couple of guys who found her along an entrance/exit ramp on I-15.
She is current on shots
and will be spayed. Georgia is deaf, but has very good vision.
She is very well
socialized thanks to the efforts of April at the St George shelter and
her temp
foster moms in Salt Lake
City.
Georgia is crate trained, is an excellent traveler and is currently located
in Boise,Idaho. She is
still learning potty
training, but is doing very well. Georgia is a very smart girl.
* Georgia's new family will be moving into
their new home mid June. She will stay in her foster home
until they get settled in order to make the transition easier
for her.
Daisy is a recent mother that had all 10 of her puppies put down and was
then left
behind when her owners moved. Thanks to a kind and caring
neighbor, she
is now safe in foster care. Her foster mom reports that
Daisy has
some separation anxiety (wonder why??) but is a sweet and
loving girl.
She gets along great with other animals including cats, kids, etc.
Daisy is deaf
and blind in one eye. She was born in January of 05.
She loves playing in the kiddy pool and travels great. She walks very
easy on a
leash and loves to cuddle and be petted. Despite her history,
Daisy is one
happy girl.
Dillon

Dillon has just recently arrived at Amazing Aussies. He is a very
well behaved boy, has good
vision, and seems to have at least some hearing......We are still observing
what sounds he
responds to.
Dillon is microchipped, current on his shots and has been neutered. He is
housebroken, rides
well in the car, and has the run of the house with no issues at all.
Lucky Boy

Lucky Boy was pulled from a shelter just hours before his scheduled euthanasia.
He is very
friendly and great with
people, kids, and other animals. Lucky Boy is neutered and current on
all shots.
Maggie Mae
Adopted
Maggie Mae is a 1 ½ year old Australian Shepherd/Smooth Coated Collie. Maggie has a
great personality and is a wonderful and loving pup! She is housetrained and crate trained and
doesn't whine. She will sleep in her crate, but does not need to be crated. Maggie Mae is spayed,
up to date on all her vaccinations and is microchipped.
She is deaf and has limited vision in her

**Note - Maggie Mae's
current owner has been able to make arrangements in order to keep her.
So although I have listed her as adopted...she is actually remaining in
her own forever home.
**Note - Maggie Mae was adopted out
by her owner and is now living in the Phoenix area.
Zeena is approximately 4 years old. She is a blue self merle, which means she has no tan
markings. She was found with her pup running loose in the desert where the 2 had been dumped.
Zeena is completely house trained and loves to take up her share of the bed at night.
Dozer is about 11 months old and hasn't met another dog he doesn't like. Dozer is very fortunate
that he can both see and hear. He is currently being fostered with Jason who is blind and deaf.
Dozer is very patient while playing, and is also firm in helping Jason understand proper manners.
Dozer is very curious about cats, mostly why they get to sit on the
table. Otherwise, he is fairly
indifferent
Diego is 15 months old. He shares his home with 2 kitties and his foster brother Voyager.
He knows to leave the cat food alone, and loves to spend time with his people.
Dante, approximately 2 and a half years old, has wonderful canine manners and is very polite to
his human companions. He patiently waits to be invited up on the bed or into the house and is
never "pushy".
Dante's favorite toy is a tennis ball and a better ball chaser could not be found. He always
promptly brings it right back in hopes of another toss.
Banjo is about a year old, totally deaf and sight impaired, although his family believes his
eyesight has improved with age. He has had all his shots and has been neutered. Banjo is a
very beautiful dog with a very soft coat.
He is crate trained. Actually we leave his crate door open and he likes to sit in there and sleep
in there. We haven't taken him in the car much because of the Summer heat, but when he has
been in the car he has been pretty good. He uses the doggy door and has never has an accident
in the house. He is a very fast learner, especially if food is involved.

We are very happy that
Banjo is able to stay in his forever home as he is deeply loved by his mom.
Fresno is approximately 10 months old. He
loves to play and wrestle with the other dogs.
If his fellow canine living mates aren't in the mood to play, no problem...he is just as happy to
entertain himself. Fresno is crate trained and never complains during his time in the crate.
Ryker got out of the car he made a mad dash for the front
door.......needless to say he was
excited.Ryker and Scruffy played a little and Randee said that Scruffy normally does not play
well with others and especially with toys.....but Scruffy was playing with toys and Ryker both.
Sammy
Adopted
Sammy is a Blue Merle male
approximately 1 year old, with beautiful touches of copper around
his face and back legs.
Thanks to Terry, a wonderful volunteer at Prescott Animal Care & Control,Sammy now has
an opportunity to find a loving forever home with a loving family in Colorado.
Sydney is maturing into a "fine young man".
He was squirrelly and challenging at first. Being
without a human, riding in our cars, walking on a leash, being in a kennel, being near shoes or
wood all posed challenges to this bright and amiable pup. We had to keep our mind in the set
of "He is just a pup. He wants to be with us because we are his flock and it is his duty."
